The name Frends does not stand for ‘friends’, but is an acronym for ‘Front End Dialling System’, a revolutionary solution developed by the Finnish IT consulting company HiQ. Its original purpose was to connect petrol stations in Finland to a central system via dial-up modems. Today, Frends stands for much more: it is an integrated platform that meaningfully links data from a wide variety of systems such as ERP and CRM, thereby creating real added value for our customers.
